Daniel Cole
After completing a foundation year at Falmouth, Daniel trained as a scientific and natural history illustrator at Blackpool School of Art. For the last 28 years he has worked as a professional artist / illustrator. Working mostly in the field of Natural History his work has been used by clients in advertising and publishing all over the world, most recently for the BBC.
He is a long time member of the Society of Wildlife Artists and his wildlife paintings have won several awards , most recently the Swarovski Bird Artist of the Year 2016 at the Mall Gallery.
Daniel also paints striking landscapes. Working in his studio using many field sketches, he takes the strong lines and colours of the Cornish landscape and supercharges them to produce dramatic works of art.
